Pirates win again, join ranked clubs

The Peninsula Pirates continued their unbeaten streak to 12 games, only giving up 5 goals in that time with 9 shutouts as they beat Skagit Valley 3-0. With today’s shutout, the PC soccer team set a team record of 10 shutouts in a season, best in the history of soccer at PC. Luis Medrano played in goal today because 2:30min into the game Jase Hall got kicked in the head and had to go to the emergency room. We had a lot of chances in front of the goal but we could not put the ball into the back of their net more. We missed 4 great 1v1 opportunities. Current standings.

Pirates Ranked 8th

With the latest NWAACC rankings out, the Pirates claimed the 8th spot this week. Unranked all season the Pirates were able to get into the top 8 going into the playoffs.
