It's almost unheard of these days for a soccer player without much select team experience to land at a college and have an immediate impact on the program. But that is what Brittnay Gates has done at Olympic College
Gates, a freshman from Sequim has scored 15 goals for the 4-8-2 Rangers and is tied for the lead in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community College with that figure. Tahlia O'Loughlin of Walla Walla also has 15 goals.
